Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, the Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms that you, as the owner of this website, establish. The T&Cs set the legal boundaries that govern the activities of your website visitors or customers as they visit or interact with this website. The T&Cs are intended to establish the legal relationship between the website visitors and you as the website owner.

What to include in the T&C document

In general, T&Cs often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the site; The possible payment methods; a statement that the site owner may change its offering in the future; the types of guarantees the site owner gives to its customers; a reference to intellectual property or copyright issues, where relevant; the site owner's right to suspend or cancel a member's account, and more.
